New dance and philosophy book

Frédéric Pouillaude, an assistant professor in the philosophy of art at the Sorbonne and one of the speakers at the 2008 conference in Nancy, has just published a new book on philosophy and dance:

Le Désoeuvrement chorégraphique. Etude sur la notion d'oeuvre en danse

It's available on Amazon-France:
http://www.amazon.fr/D%C3%A9soeuvrement-chor%C3%A9graphique-Etude-notion-doeuvre/dp/2711621952/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1315915440&sr=8-1

A lengthy review of the book is available in English:

An English translation of the entire book is not yet available, but I understand that a major publisher is looking seriously at that option. Given the paucity of literature in this field, I hope that happens!

New journal publication

The journal Aesthetic Pathways 1:2 (June 2011) has just published eight papers from the 2008 conference in Finland, including a revised version of my paper on graffiti. Here's the cover of the journal:

New Book: Philosophy of Dance

I am very pleased to report that the Presses Universitaires de Rennes has published a collection of papers from the 2008 conference in Nancy, France, Philosophie de la Danse. The papers that were presented in English were translated into French by Julia Beauquel, who co-edited the new book with her advisor, Roger Pouivet. Here's an image of the cover:
